Thanks. I have a fuel/engine problem which occurs when the vehicle revs beyond 2000 revs. It starts to die as if starved of fuel then kicks in again a second later, dies after a second or so, kicks back in, dies etc etc. If I dont reduce the revs below 2000 it will slowly start to conk out. But if I drop the engine speed it recovers instantly. Its had a new fuel and air filter but I think its some sensor somewhere. Other than that it starts brilliant, ticks over spot on and drives perfectly until it reaches this engine speed. Was working fine until last week when it first occurred. Local mechanic thinks its the EGR valve. He could be right but thought Id try and find out what the sensors do. I know the obvious thing to do is plug it into the diagnostics but I dont trust the local garages (rural area) equipment based on past experience with this Berlingo. They got some fault codes saying that the fuel pump was faulty. Turned out to be damp in the ECU due to a blocked rain scuttle. Dont have access to a Lexia.
