just got a 1.6 petrol berlingo
#1
Hello all you berlingoers out there.

I have just bought a 2005 1.6 petrol berlingo, love it to bits its the modupack one.

two things,

1. the power steering pulses a little bit when turning- tries to turn back, does anyone know what this is?

2. what are the correct spark plugs for this model and when should they be changed.

any advice greatly welcome

many thanks

Hello .........

1/ Try changing the power steering oil could just be old oil ( search the forum for more info )

2/ Haynes says that Bosch plugs - FR7ME - are the right ones though other makes will be fine too.
It also suggests a service interval of 40k miles which to me seems a LOT of miles !

I use NGK LFR6B in mine. Always been fine but I change them often as mine is Lpg.

The steering pulse is a feature on mine although it's not drastic.
