Largest tyre size for b9
#1
I need new winter tyres for the coming winter.  Was looking at fitting 205/65/16 will give me extra 15cm on the diameter.  Is anyone running this size or larger?  I want to go larger if possible as I figured this will be a good way to give me slightly higher ride height to get through the drifts etc.

I upsides from 175/70/14 to 184/65/14 when I bought my Winter tyres.

Can recommended the Nexen Winguard Snow G WH2 tyres.

I'm running 195 x 65 x 15 winter tyres. On my Partner, no problems, arches look full.

Hey Richieski, necrobumping an old thread, but I'm wondering how you got on with this... I'm thinking of doing the same to my 2008 B9... though perhaps you meant R15? At least I do. I'm on 195/65 R15 and I'm thinking of switching to 205/65 to give me extra clearance for farm tracks etc...

Cheers,

205/65/15's will only give you approx 6mm height difference over your 195/65/15's, that's hardly going to make a difference.

You're right, though I'm actually on 195/60 R1 by mistake ( happened when buying part worns...) so I'd get a bit more than that.
I've also got an issue beneath the van that makes me want to increase clearance in any way until I fix it.

Try using a tyre size comparison tool to see the difference in sizes.
