How much coolant to replace the old one?

I'm about to flush all the coolant out of the Berlingo. Does anyone know how much coolant is needed to replace the old one?

Also, has anyone flushed the system out with water? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

It's the 1.9 diesel. Also is it worth using the radiator gunk cleaners? If so, recommend any brands? Thanks.

6 litres premixed coolant should do it, or 5 litres and one bottle of deionised water to top up. Radiator flush does a good job of rehabilitating internals of the cooling system and therefore strongly recommended it you are switching from using water to coolant but still no harm in doing a random flush. I don't know about what brand is available over there, but here I use Wynn's and STP.

Priority is getting the Matrix sorted especially with the Winter Months ahead No point in refilling with antifreeze if you still have a leak.If frost gets to the matrix before you do it will expand and cause a real problem.
