I know the Berlingo can fit 306 seats with a bit of cutting, but my question is has anybody tried using the seat rails from a 306? I feel like the seating position is too high for my personal taste (coming from a 206 GTi). If the front end is based on the 306 you should still be able to see out the windscreen.
Also if I'm stuck with the high seats I like the storage area under the passenger seat. Is there a way to get the driver seat to fold down the same way? Maybe using the passenger seat from a continental model?

). The passenger seat itself is symmetrical so I should be able to use one from a RHD model. I'm converting it to electric anyway so putting the pedal box on an adjustable mount shouldn't be too difficult.
