I am currently researching what model to buy. My budget will be around 2K.

Just wondering if any owners of M49 / M59 models (pre 2008) live near me so I can have a look at your motor and a quick chat.

I live just north of Whitchurch in the very north corner of Shropshire.

I'll be ready to buy soon, but I still haven't actually seen, sat in, or driven any yet 

I even went to three different main dealers, but as soon as I said I was looking for a used one for around £2K they lost all interest in me as a customer !!
