(This post was last modified: 30-09-2016, 09:44 PM by daz7505.)
just bought a brand new berlingo enterprise 1.6 bluehdi, picking it up from the dealer tomorrow morning.
its got the touchsceen unit in.
i want to add a reversing camera, wasnt willing to pay the dealership price for the factory installed unit, plus would of had to wait another 2 weeks while my van was built to my spec. there was already one at the pdi centre to my spec without the camera.
i have done this mod on a nissan navara, bridging a wire under the drivers seat to tell the vehicle to change the screen to camera view when reverse gear selected, and adding an av adaptor on the back of the stereo to take the input from the camera.
once all done, couldnt tell it was not factory fit.
does anyone know how to wire in an aftermarket camera

Bump - I'm wondering the same
Is there a recommended reversing camera kit that works ok with the standard head unit?
And is there any coding or anything required to enable the camera?

Answers seem conspicuous by there absence, going to start by having a look to see if it is the rear distance sensor module in the rear NS that produces the AV signal showing the arrows and giving the sound, if not it looks like a look at the screen, checked all manuals I can find, but can't find any detailed wiring showing PDS and touch screen.

Bump. Collecting my van this week. I wanted a camera but it was a 12 week wait vs a 10 day wait. SO I opted for the same van with no camera now.
Would like to retrofit if possible.

I have a 2012, I’ve fitted a second hand smeg+. I’d like the genuine kit ideally.
Theres 2 plug and play kits available. I tried one module, I don’t think the software was correct for the berlingo screen resolution so it didn’t work correctly. Currently working with the supplier to see if there’s an update for the interface I had but I’m going to try the other kit first. Instructions listed for Peugeot and Citroen but no berlingo in the list. I haven’t tried the other yet so there’s always hope. Can bus wasn’t correct and the image was rolling so there’s something not quite right. Does anyone have any information on the genuine kit? I’d like to see it. Cheers
