New owner central locking / bsi problems

Hi I have bought a 2010 berlingo multistage 1.6 hdi 75bhp.

The central locking only works for a about 4 mins after the key has been removed from the ignition, so after 4 mins I have to put key in lock to open door then in the ignition to unlock rest of doors.clock/ date time also won't save.

I tried resetting bsi but on the reset procedure it says turn sidelights on, my sidelights won't turn on unless key is in ignition.

If I have to send off to bba reman where is the bsi unit located?

Do u mean side lights won't come till the keys is in ignition,or does ignition have to be on?

There is a parking / client fuse in glove box a grey fuse, above it says parking/ client . The fuse goes in either of the two holes I moved it to the right under client and fixed it.

Jonny, Which fuse box is that, engine bay or behind the glove compartment. Cant see this fuse in my glove box fuses.

Your solution may help me. 
My central locking via the fob works fine when I get out of the van and lock it straight away but come back a few mins later and it wont open via fob. Unlock with the key in the door and then the van will lock and unlock with the fob. 

Sound similar ?.
