[Engine] EGR valve clip thing

I unclipped the clip that goes round gere in order toi clean all the shite n gunk n soot out
can i fuggerslike get the bloody clip back on! a small screwdriver in it n a twist it pinged off....but NO WAY can i get it back on....any ideas?

I use a " Pincers " which works well ............

Geoff, THANK YOU for the tip, Pincers from Wilko's £3.34 took ten seconds to fit, very happy....i never thought a pair of pincers would find pride of place in my toolbox, they have though!

Possible the wrong post but I recently bought a 1.6 XTR... I want to use an EGR spray cleaner which pipe am I to spray it in? I had power issues and bought some ARC6400-D MAX and done a 300 mile round trip and it's 90% better but ODBII still gives EGR issue so would like to clean that before I take it on the same journey ( if I was mechanical and had a ramp I would take the valve off and clean it right )
