OBD Eror Code P1351

I've just stuck one of those chinese OBD bluetooth diagnostic plugs into my Berlingo Forte 2006 1.6 HDI and it has highlighted 2 engine error codes which I wondered if anyone had seen before and could advice me what to do about them, as the car is behaving perfectly.
They are 2 P1351 codes showing the fault 'Ignition Diagnostic Monitor Input Circuit', it suggests to me that it is flagging up that there is an OBD plug in there, but I only know so much so would welcome anyone's thoughts on what I should do, if anything, about these P1351 codes? Thank you in advance.

To do with the glowplug circuit. I wouldn't go looking for problems that may no exist (as you said it's running fine)
Problem with cheap code readers is they often can't tell between historic and current codes, so you may be chasing something that is no longer there. I would clear them and see what happens.
The glowplugs on those are more for emissions rather tan starting. Think they are only actually needed at something like -40c

Whilst the glow plugs on this engine don't come on for a pre heat period before cold starting unless in a very low temperature (not sure of the exact figure) they do come on for a 3 minute post heat period once the engine is started.
This post heat period is to help reduce emission output, however it also aids engine warm up, reduces diesel knock and aids smooth engine running.
Poor running on cold start up (smoke and a slight misfire for a few seconds) is often caused by defective glow plugs or glow plug relay, however this is often overlooked as the general consensus is that the glow plugs are only there to reduce emissions.

Very informative thank you. Mine runs sweetly from startup but it will be something to look out for. :-)

Slight Hi-Jack here, but so close to the subject
With regard to glow plug errors and symptoms.
Now as it is VERY cold (like minus 5) early in the morning, I have noticed that whilst my 05 2.0HDi does start ok (after a 2 or 3 seconds cranking) it does smoke, only slightly, for the first 30 seconds or so and does not like pulling away. I have taken to letting it tick over for a minute or two before driving it.
Is this normal (this is my first ever Diesel) ?

With regard to cheap EBD code readers.
I had considered getting a code reader, but there are so many to choose from (see -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_...IVJTM7HADW = 6,500+ on offer !!) and anyway, it might just encourage my paranoia rather than do anything practical and helpful !!

Immediately after starting if the engine is a little lumpy or if when you hold the revs on at around 1500 you can feel it misfiring slightly then you will more than likely have a glow plug off.
On the 2.0 HDI they are at the front of the engine so easier to get at them than on the 1.6 where they are round the back.
Easy enough to check them with a multimeter or test lamp. (videos on youtube)
As for a code reader, those OBD readers are a bit hit and miss, some of them work some don't, you would be better off paying a little more and getting something that is a bit more reliable.

I think I must learn to stop being paranoid about my new vehicle
It's not misfiring and I don't need a code reader. It is working fine, so, put fuel in and enjoy
It must stem from 13 years of owning a 1980s VW T25 with the flat 4 watercooled engine. You kinda get used to expecting summat to need attention at any time!! Ah well, it lives in Devon now.
