Hi all,
I've had a 2006 Muntispace for the past 4 years. The versatility is great and the carrying capacity is even better. Alas, I'm having problems with a leaky injector and it will not budge. Even a dealer can't shift it. The fuel economy and engine performance are still very good despite the leak. I would happily leave the offending injector alone but there are bad fumes coming into the cabin on account of it. I'm going to have a final swing at it at the weekend. If I have no success, I really don't want to get into stripping the head off etc. The mileage is high and I'm not willing to spend that kind of money or time.
I think it's time to change car. How does the B9 series (from 2008 on) compare in terms of engine reliability? Is it the same engine as the 2006 model or a new unit? Any information will be appreciated.
Cheers,
PC
