I want this M59, but the garage emails say ->
#1
I want a particular M59 Desire, it's the right model (2.0Ltr HDi) the right year, the right price, got FSH, it's the right colour (dark metallic greenish), but, at the bottom of all the emails I get from this used car dealer (in Birmingham) it says ->

"Sent from Pre Court Legal team Complaints  Resolution"

I asked them in the last email I sent (enquiring about a test drive and likely purchase) but they ignored that part of my question.

What do you reckon folks?
Regards to all,

Dont know about your individual correspondents or the garage but ignore your gut feeling at your own peril!

If it does not seem right walk away - ignoring that important part of your email would be enough for me.

And now to add to the confusion, the very same vehicle is being offered by another dealer, just 7 miles away from the folk I have been talking to, and at £800 more  :?

The original sale was a dealer, "World of Motor Cars", Springhill, Birmingham, the current dealer is "A1 Vehicles ltd", Yardley, Birmingham. They are about 7 miles from each other. Both were advertising the car on Ebay by the way = First one HERE and the current one HERE

It all seems a bit dodgy, but it is just the one I want, exactly !!

Nah, gut feeling is forget that one!!

Someone else Wrote:If you cross reference both vat reg numbers they are the same company a1 vehicle remarketing ltd

Ah Ha, and the guy I spoke to said they were no connection and they had bought the car from the first dealer, needing a new clutch.

Right, I'm out of there !!

Yes, I had seen that. I was assuming it would be MOT'd soon. However, the guy offered for me to come down soon ("there is a lot of interest in this car" he said) for a test drive - with no MOT Huh

Thank you for taking the time to find that by the way Cool

The search continues.................. and the money is burning a hole in my pocket !!

ask for the "V5C document reference number"

With that and the reg number you can get a full MOT check, everything that its failed on or been advised going back years !
https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/

I always check before buying any car...... ( and a full HPI of course)
