Plug and socket.
#1
Hi all,

This is first post so apologies if it's been covered.

The heater has gone off on the berlingo today. Whilst looking at fuses, I see that a green 5or6 pin plug has been disconnected under dash on drivers side. The wires look to originate from heater speed control. The other side of connector has yellow wiring that disappears up to top of dash above left of instrument cluster.
Someone has linked two pins on the male plug back to cigarette lighter wiring.

First question is, does anyone know if this is related to no heater motor and why have the pins been linked?

Many thanks in advance
