Water in rear footwell box

I have a Berlingo B9 - I have noticed that there is water in the rear footwell storage box - anyone else seen this, or have an idea on the cause. Can see anything obvious.

I have a Berlingo B9 - I have noticed that there is water in the rear footwell storage box - anyone else seen this, or have an idea on the cause. Can see anything obvious.

I have seen this in a previous car I owned, a Xsara picasso. I never got to know what was the infiltration source though...

But, from a picasso owner forum (here: http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso...age-boxes/ ):

"I had a similar problem.... in my case the water was running along the rear carpet, from the bottom of the rear door trim (the internal plastic sheet was not sealing, allowing water to run where it shouldn't). The leak was traced by playing a hosepipe on the rear door.

I seem to recall something about a blocked aircon drain pipe causing similar problems.... try the search section."
