Finally a B9 Haynes Manual

You are right mate , it shows a pic of the b9 but says the earlier one .

Thanks for letting me know ,I will call them on Monday and will delete the link so no one else makes the same mistake as me .

I called Haynes today to sort out my order error (thanks Ron) & have to say they were very helpful & pleasant to deal with.

I'm quite excited at the prospect of getting my hands on this manual, just having the backup safety net of the information contained in it gives me the confidence to get my hands dirty, I know I may be a bit over cautious as I have serviced & worked on my own motorbikes & cars for the past 30 odd years, but I like to go into a job both informed & tooled up.

I hope it lives up to my expectations !

I was thinking that I should of tried to see if we could of got a discount code for the forum members before I posted about it, but to be honest I was so happy about finding it I couldn't wait to tell you guys about it.

I 'phoned twice yesterday.1st time I was put through to export as the order lines were busy,promised to ring me back but didn't.2nd time I was told they were doing some sort of check,said they'd ring back,guess what? Rang this morning,got straight through & ordered no prob.I hope the manual is better than their sales system. Sad

Hi Ron ,
I phoned at 8.30am and got straight through maybe like everywhere else these days they are understaffed and when they get busy things mess up.
I had to email the distributor for a free post code and address, I got a reply the same day , the (wrong one I ordered) book arrived this morning , I stuck the free post address on it and sent it back for a refund without opening it .
Once refunded I will order the correct one, I intend to ring early again based on the problem you had.

I'm pleased that a MkIII book is on the way althoughI hope it will be of more use then other recent publications of theirs.

I don't want to buy a book in good faith then find it recommends taking the vehicle to a garage.

As long as it covers servicing , capacities, torque settings specs etc I will be happy as doubt I will go much further than that.

Ordered mine to day 11.45 got strait through good thing is they will not debit my A/C until they send it out. Smile
