Intermittent speedo, noises and warning light. Do I need to Worry?

Since being back on the road...500 pleasurable, mainly local, pottering about miles at 42mpg. Things we've noticed...

Apparently randomly the red battery warning light has flashed on with a beep 4 or 5 times, but not for a while.

Theres a new occasional rumbling/ vibrating/ rattling from front left of car, which at first i thought was the road surface.. becoming more regular and feels like its connected to the....speedo, which started flickering, or going off completely for a few seconds. Today it was off for minutes at a time , during which the trip meter didn't register any increase in miles and the strange noise didn't re occur. Coincidence? Guilt by association?

Early diesel Multispace with lcd mileometer and trip recorder. Quick search of the forum hasn't helped that much, any ideas? I don't even know if I will be looking for a cable when it stops raining...

SORTED....

Changed a 5 amp fuse and, coincidently,  it all works perfectly.....except now the sunroof won't  open.

You can live with that for the next 6 months.
