Hey everyone, I'm looking at buying my first berlingo which is exciting... but which one to choose?!  mine will need to go up some alpine hills, so for anyone with a 1.6 HDi, whats it like on hills?!  thanks very much!  Ali

1.6hdi's go very well hils are not a problem

75 hp engine is good for running around but for alpine hills with luggage etc then get the 92 hp version .... welcome !

I took my last,'57 reg 92hp to Bavaria every year,hills no problem at all.

Go skiing with mine most years. Alps are not a problem. On winter tyres it romps across the passes like a good 'un.

Mines the 90bhp one. Not sure I'd fancy the 75bhp variant though... the 110 must be good but I wasn't patient enough to find one!

My vans the 75hp and I drive through derbyshire peak district,wales,scottish highlands etc fully loaded with steel and I never have a queue behind me,The lights are the let down on mine,I'm just in the process of fitting 4 spot lights on the top rail of the bull bar,I like to see the drystone wall before it hits me :-)
