Central Display fault
#1
The central display on my van is missing segments. Does that mean it needs replacing completely or just new bulbs? The segments that do show are fairly bright. I'm guessing the screen needs replacing, but thought I'd ask first. It's the EMF A type.

Mine loses some segments when it is cold and damp and they come back when it warms up if I stop and then start up again. It's not something that worries me so I tend to ignore it as I know what year and date it is and what the radio is doing. It's not the back light on mine as it is all bright.
So where does this bit go then ?

That sounds similar to what mine's doing. It does seem to get better and worse randomly. It's just annoying not being able to read the clock.
