I think in essence it's the same thing to be honest. Just want to try and see if anyone has used one that they can recommend.

OK thank you will have a look. Not off work until Sunday so will have to wait until then at the earliest. I don't think this frost would assist in drying at the moment

Make sure t use very fine wet n dry 1200 grit to clean the track ends then put masking tape over and cut through with a razor leaving a 1 or 2 mm wide track. Paint the stuff on. Peel. Let dry. Test.

Yes I've done it before and plain brush in aluminium paint works ok. To see whether or not it will work just take a multimeter set it on ohms and put both ends of the probes into the pot of paint you can of course wipe the paint off the steel ends afterwards
