Conversion from manual to power mirror

Courtesy of a lorry smashing off my passenger side mirror last week, I got hold of a used electric mirror as it was the only immediately available replacement I could get a hold of as driving without it could be catastrophic. My mechanic has already installed it in place of the previous one which was manual and he told me that the connector had been nipped off leaving bare wires.

I've not looked into the door keenly before hand to see if there was a harness, but I hope to complete the conversion so I can use a button to operate the mirror.

Has anyone done such a conversion before? Kindly let me know what will it take to complete the job apart from the (obvious) button.

Hi all, it appears that perhaps I could be the first here to do this kind of conversion. From research on the online Peugeot service box, there are several different types of door harnesses, depending on the feature. Nest step is to check if there is any harness inside the door and if it matches with what is specified for Partners with powered mirrors. i checked the part number for the switch and confirmed that it is the same one specified for some 407 model on ebay.
