Rear Wiper Motor
#1
Hi Folks,

The rear wiper on my Pug Partner Combi has stopped working. The large gear inside has stripped some teeth in a certain area.
Is there another more common Peugeot or Citroen like 206/306/Xsara hatch etc that use the same wiper motor?
Mine has a lift up tailgate, and not separate doors.

Thanks in advance Rolleyes

P.s, it's a 2001/51 plate.

Good question- I know the rear wiper motor gears are notorious for failing. Mine had failed when I bought it but I was lucky enough to find one in a scrappy to replace it with.

I can't see Citroen/Peugeot developing an entire new motor for the Berlingo? I should imagine the motor itself might be a common fit with other Citroen/Pug models but the mounting plate it's on is probably Berlingo-specific. Best bet would be take motor off, go to a scrappy and see if you can find a similar-looking motor that might mount on to the plate from the Berlingo?

Cheers for the reply minisandfords.

Yeh, I think a scrappy run is what's needed.
I was hoping that someone on here might know what other models share the same internals. If the mounting is different, but the internals are the same, I can strip the bits from one and fit into mine to get it working again.
