HELP! Smashed passenger window fitting

some scrote smashed the window in my 2006 1.9D van and stole a jacket n about £8 in change!

I have the window to replace it but for the life of me cant figure out how to get the mechanism to wind down to fit the glass.....i have the door card n handles off, and the glass seal, but the plastic clips are at the top, an i press the window switch the clips just 'twitch' slightly

Please save my sanity while there is daylight as i dont want another night sleepless!

Hinot had this problem on my Berlingo but had it on a Volvo. Turned out that bits of glass were wedged at the top of the door fouling the movemen. Tapping and hoovering freed it.

I had to get a pro windscreen guy to come out........turn out, the berlingo window clips sometimes come out of the runners.....slip em back in ( easy when ya know what ya looking for) and it too 5 mins to do.........cost me £40 oh well...ive learned and hopefully saved someone a few quid......
