I just had the egr valve replaced as it was fully clogged and the car was loosing power.
Since it was replaced the car is driving fine but when it's idling over there is jump in the engine, this issue is more prevalent when the engine is cold, there is also a feeling of split second loss of power when driving.
What should I be looking at now?

What engine? Blingo year?
Check MAF sensor. Clean it with carb cleaner.
Find tutorial on youtube. Don't clean with brush!
Best regards,

Only method I have found with MAF sensor is to throw the old one in the bin and replace with a new one. It will run better with the sensor disconnected if you want to try it to make sure it is that. It didn't show any engine fault on our car either.
So where does this bit go then ?

As your problems started when the egr was replaced I would start with that. Check all connections and that all is tight.

Thank you, it's running smoother now with some engine cleaner and few long runs but it's still there occasionally. The car is a 2008
I'll look into MAF
