How many times have you changed Bulbs on your Berlingo?
Mines now averaging one a month!
Had 2 brakes go together, Then the remaining one went, Then another brake went which I got around to replacing today only to discover once that was fitted that the front Headlight was out!
My dads convinced its me buying cheap (£1) Auto parts shop bulbs, but im not. He decided to try and prove a point by dragging me to Halfords to buy ''Better'' bulbs but that ended up in us purchasing some LED replacements that weren't cheap but he was paying. Only problem with them is an intermittent error on the diagnostics that occurs on startup but disappears after a few pumps of the brake. I guess the LED is borderline on the resistance needed and are causing the error to occur. Time will tell if they make any difference but i'll not hold my breath.
Now stocking collection of spare bits on board waiting for the next bit to break.

In six years I've replaced four head light bulbs (Nightbreaker +), one rear license bulb and the upper brake light bulb on the tailgate.

In 8yrs I've only replaced headlamp bulbs both went one after the other at about 3yrs. I replaced them with Halfords heavy duty bulbs & they are still ok. It's possibly the 'upgraded' light bulbs that might have shorter life & also cheap bulbs. In my truck driving days it was always false economy to buy cheap unbranded bulbs. Ring or Lucas was what we used.

Mine's over 8 years old and still on original bulbs.
Could the voltage be playing up? might be worth checking the alternator.

what ever car I buy I always upgrade the head light bulbs have just bought a 2012 XTR the first thing I did was upgrade the bulbs I get Twenty20 + bulbs which give you a two year guarantee and there is Twenty20 Endurance which has a four year guarantee ( The bulbs are a lot easier to change on my 2012 than my 2007)

We used to have this issue , but now we only supply Osram bulbs, they cost a little more, but we never get customers coming back complaining. We fit about 10 H7's a month on average, sometimes 20 or more, so believe me I can tell the difference in quality.

Thanks for the advise, Think Im going to give the £1 specials a miss from now on.
The front passenger was replaced with a one out of a Halfords selection kit (Has 6 ish? different bulbs in it) I bought when the first rear one went but I now have a pack of 'Heavy Duty' bulbs on stand by and will stick them both in if another goes.
The center Brake got a 'Heavy Duty' in it when it went and is still working fine but the 2 other Brakes have just been the £1 bulbs until we put the LED replacements in Wed. They are still causing faults on the Diagnosis but im not too worried about that as long as they work.
Im Now having to do a proper Daily check just to make sure everything's working properly, Just as well I reverse park in front of my sittingroom window as you can see the lights in the mirror.

Do you reccomend the standard bulbs or the Night Breaker ones Lighty?
