Oil quantity
#1
The only place I can find this info is on a 3rd party oils site, Comma I think.

 2009 1.6HDI 75 B9

The site states 3.75L + 0.25L for the filter, I take it you add these together to get 4L? Thats what I've put in (assuming there was actually 5 litres in the bottle to begin with). Cant seem to get a reliable reading off the dipstick, it gets covered in oil when it goes down the tube.

Leave it overnight and check in the morning if you can. 4L is not far away - if i leave mine draining for quite a while i can just get 4.2L so you are not far away.

Try to fill a bit short of max on the stick, they don't like being filled right up.

The engine generally takes a bit more than that, 4.3 from experience is about right

I had a 2010 1.6 HDi L2 and never put more than 3 litres in at any oil change. The owners book said put 3.85 litres in, which would have overfilled it! I put 3 litres into my current 2015 B9 L2 now at every oilchange.

It goes 3,8 liters in engine, also Autodata writes that,so i would go with this. Run engine that the oil is really hot,and then drain it,leave it to drain about 1 hour,be careful so you dont get burned.

Somebody was also writing here on forum about oil change, then turbo failures, its worth to look for it,and be better prepared for maintenance jobs.
