[Brakes] Brake Fluid
#1
Got new drums and shoes to put on my 2006 Van, also got a wheel cylinder "just in case". Just need to clarify if any Dot4 brake fluid is compatible with the original fluid. The owners manual mentions using synthetic fluid ( Citroen specific) but as all brake fluid is technically synthetic am I finding a problem when there isn't one? Was going to be using Pagid Dot 4 fluid from Eurocarparts.

Dave.

That or any other DOT 4 will be fine.

I change the brake fluid every four years even when I change cars and if its a Citroen or a VW the dealer does it for 49 Euro and i think the same offer is available in the UK
