I've seen a 2003 2.0 HDI for the same price as what I have spent so far on Pup.
With a farm the look after, a degree to study towards and bills to pay I may just buy this one (after thoroughly looking it over!!!) And fight Pups corner.

Pup needs a little TLC around the edges but a classic you've got there nonetheless. Get some miles in commuting to uni?

Wouldn't that be regarding the purchase of the vehicle as opposed to the bent MOT? I don't have the sellers details as he never sent the v5 off in his name. I just have a mobile number.

It would cover the seller so you might struggle i would still go the MOT route and when the ministry inspect it point out the other defects then.
Also remember the ministry will do a full MOT and may find things that you were not aware of. The ministry are not stupid they will know if it should have passed or not and be able to check component wear against milage
Sod them go for it
