Radio antenna
#1
Sad
The radio roof antenna on my Multispace has become loose and is I suspect the source of a slight water leak to the interior and my radio has become less sensitive possibly corrosion. My problem is how do I get to the back of it to check/tighten it ? The interior of the cabin has lockers and shelves all around the roof area, apart from removing it all, is there any other way to get to the back of the antenna?

You can see the aerial mount from the inside by removing the interior light (the one that comes on with the door open as opposed to the map reading light). IIRC it can be removed by gently levering from the RH side. Once the light is out, the light fitting can be removed by disconnecting the cable.

It's still a tight fit even then, but you can see it.

Thanks for the info, I shall take a look, I might need to fit a new one which side does the cable go down?

The cable goes down the left side. There's a fairly recent thread about it on here somewhere.
