fusebox nightmare :)

hello everyone
newbie here and i would like to know if someone could help me with a fusebox layout or maybe write which fuse goes where and how many amp it is. the car is a W reg 1.4 berlingo.
the existing fuses they dont match with the handbook's layout.

I've found the fuses don't quite match the diagram in the Owners Manual - in some cases its the "next" fuse ('98 "S"reg).

A bit of trial and error required (and some spare fuses).

I hope these scans help.

Picture 1 top right IS fuse 1.

thanks for your replies
it is really weird why the owners manual has got the wrong fuse diagram. in my car i ve got fuses 1-12 at the bottom, 13-17 in the middle and 18-28 at the top. after a research on the net i found this image which is exactly how my fuse box looks like

it helped me a lot. everything is working fine even the cigarette lighter which didn't work before although i put a fuse in every possible place
hope it will be helpful for someone

Owners handbooks are available on eBay, and elsewhere.
Over the passage of time, since the car was new, the original handbook may have been lost and the one you have is an incorrect replacement. Smile
