longitudinal roof rails

Hi all.  Does anyone know how to remove the plastic end caps on the longitudinal roof rails. I'd like to do a mod to them and need to take the off on one side.

Any guidance greatly appreciated

Hi. Mine just carefully lever off and just push back on. I start at the fat end of the cap on one side towards the bottom near the roof with a bent blunt thin blade / knife thingy and then put a plastic shim in to stop it clipping back on again, then work the blade round till they come off. Just take your time and be gentle and they will come off and re-fit again. I hope that this helps.
