[Transmission] Clutch Bleeding
#1
Sad
I haven't seen any info on clutch bleeding anywhere. I do know the clutch and Brakes share the same resevoir on my 2011 model. Does anyone know where the clutch bleed valve is? The fluid is now 6 years old! Have ordered a pressure bleeding kit. Yes, I must get the new Haynes manual too! Huh

The bleed valve is on the slave cylinder located at the front of the gearbox.

Fluid should be replaced every 2 years.

is there any reason this cannot be done with a pressurising type brake bleeder?
I'm thinking of getting one and it would be added value towards the expense.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Pressure\vacuum bleeders are very handy. Generally worth the money.

The only snag on the berlingo is that the bleed screw isn't at the highest point of the slave cylinder, so if you get air in the system be ready for a bettle. One tip I've seen suggests unclipping it and turning it slightly to get the screw uppermost.
