hi everyone . my van was going ok then . start get hard to start . now no glow plug light on when you switch on . and sounds like a immoblilser not turn off. but not no if it has a immobilser as my last berlingo had a chip in key this one does not never had 1 .
and when it gets to just above red on fuel guge it cuts out then start . help please .

Check the plugs are working 1st.I believe the fuel pickup in the tank can give problems when run too low.I never go below 1/4 full.

Hi Peter, there is a Haynes Manual on this site for download have a search for it and get a copy as it will help you enormously !
Glow plugs testing, essentially two methods.
1/ Disconnect the wiring and use a multimeter to check resistance / continuity on each plug
2/ Remove each plug and check each for ability to glow bright red / almost white hot
Google is your friend for learning plus there are many instruction videos on YouTube
