It's peeing down, and dark, so I ain't going to test this now, but after a good search earlier today, I can't find the rear wash bottle (remember, I'm still new to this vehicle ) It doesn't mention it at all in the book . It sounds like it's working, but recently stopped squirting any stuff out. The jet is not blocked (I don't think = poked it with a pin). The front ones are fine.
Does the rear one get fed from the front tank, but it's feed pipe is higher up or summat (so it stops working first)?

The washer bottle in the off side wing does the front and back, see if you can hear the pump working when you operate the stalk it could be the pipe blocked or failed. Easy to replace just need to remove wheel and inner wing liner and its straight in front of you.
Are we there yet?????

Pull the tailgate plastic liner off and pull the pipe out - you'll see it where the water rubber pipe attaches. It needs a firm pull (or push.. it might come out towards the back complete with jet, i can't remember) blow down it. I'd bet it's blocked.

Everybody has there own story but mine stopped pumping water even though i could hear the pump going ,it was ok for the front screen.I remember getting it out on the bench and finding an obvious fault on it,i managed to pull it apart even though it wasnt designed to be pulled apart its do-able.So if you find that nothing's blocked and the fault lies in the pump itself you can either "mess" with it or replace it ,they are available on ebay pretty cheaply. You will have to remove the offside inner wing liner to access the bottom of the reservoir and the pump is easy to remove from it.

Yes. I found out mine was blocked at the place I said as I presumed the jet was clear after a good poke with a needle, and I'd just replaced the failed pump on my Citroen C4 - so, it had to be the pump didn't it? So, I replaced the pump and it made no difference
As you say, it's easy to replace the pump anyway. Mine cost me 6 quid off ebay and took me 10 mins to fit, unlike the C4 which took bloody hours because I pushed the new pump in too hard and pushed the rubber bung into the reservoir, so had to remove the undertray and front bumper to get the reservoir out, fish the bung out, put the pump in properly then reassemble the car.

Turns out it was just a blockage, right up at the jet, so a poke and a wiggle with a thin bit of copper wire fixed it.
Glad it was that simple because the rear window doesn't half catch the muck doesn't it [Image: icon_e_surprised.gif]
