Berlingo central locking issues
#1
So today I took the task of removing the aftermarket alarm that was fitted to my new berlingo its a 2003 hdi. Anyway i a bug wire had been chopped going to ignition so i rejoined that and now the van starts there was two wires chopped coming out of the bsi unit these were connected to the central locking part of the alarm. So i cut the alarm wires out and rejoined the original wires. The onoy other wires the alarm had were power and earth and connected to the indicators of the van. The alarm is now fully removed but my central locking does nothing the button on dash doesn't work neither do any of the doors. I don't no what to do now as all the wires are rejoined. The button on the dash didn't work when the alarm was fitted.

Thanks in advance
Jake

Reset BSI or battery off on for a start.

Managed to sort it for some reason central locking was set to mechanical in the bsi once i changed this everything works apart from rear door but that didn't work off the alarm so assume a wiring fault
