Headlights on when turned off

Hi.

I have a 2004 1.9d. When the ignition is on and the lights are turned off the headlights are on and the indicators don't work. Turn on sidelights or dipped and everything works fine. Do you think a BSI reset will solve it or is it more likely to be the comms 2000 unit?

Had you done anything to the electrics before this started happening? Have you checked the scuttle drains aint blocked and water has built up and got down into the bsi unit to the right of the stering wheel.

Done nothing to the car at all. Will check the scuttle drains. Thanks
