Hi, I thought I would just share my experience with this as I was looking for advice on here but couldn't find anything definitive.
I was looking for a way through from the battery to the cab for the supply to a new amplifier.
Here's what I'd did: take out the battery and the plastic housing that the battery sits in.
Behind the battery and slightly lower down just under where the bonnet release cable passes through is a rubber grommet. I used this to get through. I tired to remove the metal tray that the battery sits on but there is one bolt that has to be accessed from the wheel arch. So you have to take the wheel off and remove the wheel arch lining... too much hassle for me. You can just about get to the grommet without removing the tray.
