Which Berlingo?
#1
Hello all,

I posted a while back about buying an old Berling to use with a boot jump. Well that never happened and we continued to use my OH's 4x4 for camping.

However we're now looking to replace it with a Berlingo. We've about £9000 to spend and would like a diesel. OH would prefer automatic, though it's not a deal breaker.

OH does drive a lot, and the car we're giving up is a good drive, so I'm worried that a berlingo will compare unfavourably when we test drive one.

Any suggestions as to which model and specs to go for?

It's a very subjective thing.I would advise trying a few eng & trim specs to see what suits your needs.

£9000 is a healthy budget for a used berlingo, when looking I've found Evans Halshaw have a good selection of used berlingos about 25 of them across the country and you can have them moved closer to you as well. With £9000 you will get a top of the range XTR with an automatic box no problems. Good luck.

Its a case of waiting for one with the right spec it could take you weeks even months but you will find with the spec and the price your looking for.
if you buy one with lowers specs maybe you will always think " if I had waited would I have found a better one" in my case I looked and waited a number of weeks and found one a 2012 one owner, XTR Modutop, Auto, silver, satnav, parking sensors, cruise control, aircon, tinted windows, built in window blinds, rear open tail gate window, with full dealer service history. I transferred my boot camp without any problems and now getting ready for my trip to Portugal
