New Berlingo Owner...

So just spent £485 on my first Citroen Berlingo 2001 LX 800 2.0 HDI van.  It has a genuine 63800 miles and was an ex British gas van... it needed a name and definitely looks like a Doris! There is not a single bit of rust in it from what I can see... the only negative at the moment is that the clutch is a bit mushy with a very low bite point but gearbox all selects lovely with no drag so I guess it's a case of keeping an eye on it. I don't have any history so don't know if the cam belt has been done so I guess this will be another job at some point. Locks are slack and the rear door lock doesn't work at all so again another little job there. All in all though it's very nice for the year... O and it has a tow bar and a roof rack capable of carrying a 6x4 sheet.

Sounds superb, but that mileage sounds bonkers.  Are you sure it's not 163k or even 1063k ?!  Have you checked the MOT history?

Yep mileage all checks out... on average it's done 3-4K a year
