sound like you need to do a compression check on the engine as you seem to have covered most things.
Did you check the cam timing or fit a new timing belt?

Its a injectors out im afraid - i dont know if you know but dont mix them up make sure they go back in the correct cylinder.
You may be able to hire a compression tester as i doubt you be using one again if you buy the test kit.

New fault codes that wasent there 1 week ago however no engine light on and no issues while driving could a sticky egr be an issue on cold start

Just seen that pumping the priming bulb didn't help.
Did you check the glow plugs?
The EGR could cause problems, it's a little tricky to get to on the 1.6HDI but I'm sure you'll manage.
You could make yourself a blanking plate up while your on and blank it off, use the gasket as a template and cut one out of a tin can or biscuit tin lid.
