Com2000 for 2003 1.9D Berlingo Multispace

Vehicle: Citroen Berlingo 2003 1.9D Multispace
VIN: VF7GJWJYB93084368.

I believe that the previous owner changed the com2000 on this vehicle, and it's been a 'non-starter' since I bought it.

Can anyone advise me as to the part number I need to look for on the correct com2000 unit for the car?
Citroen garages, and Citroen Service, happily advise me as to the Citroen part number of 6242F2, but I've been unable to cross reference this to the part numbers one finds on second hand units.

Car does NOT have front fog-lights.

P.S. The com2000 unit currently on the car has the part number 96595107XT which, according to one vendor is the correct one with another well-recommended vendor adamant that it is incorrect. (The first vendor would not confirm that this equated to the Citroen part number, and the second wouldn't tell me the 'XT' part number I require).

Advice eagerly awaited !!

No idea on the specifics but have you tried this chap? Specialises in COM2000 stuff:

If 96477544XT will work for you, I have one for sale. Although it does have a switch for the fog lights on the left stalk along with lights & dip / indicators. It's from a 2003 Peugeot IIRC, so the year is right. PM me if interested.

UPDATE: I had time to visit a local scrappy and, quite unbelievably ....... almost the first vehicle I saw was an almost complete 1.9D Multispace of exactly the same year and specification, happily with it's com2000 still in place.

Now fitted to the car: There's (always?) a fly in the ointment though ....... my Lexia software has thrown a wobbly, so next step is probably a re-instal !!!

Well, it's taken a while to find time to have a go at the car.....but........
Managed to remove sufficient armour around the stop solenoid using an air powered 3" cut-off grinder/cutter, without needing to remove the diesel injector pump from the car. Short conversation with a local vehicle electrics shop (was a Lucas Service Centre previously) resulted in purchase of a suitable 'simple' replacement stop solenoid - Made by CAR-GO, Part Number 080207 - and, with suitable ignition switched feed installed, the car has started for the first time since I bought it !
It did take a very short tow/bump start to initially get it to run; it had happily semi-fired when turning over on the battery, and only did the same with a jump start as well.

The good news is that most of the previously non-working functions such as wipers, washers, interior lights, main lights seemed to essentially sort themselves out once the engine had run: Am still left with a few issues though, namely non-working central locking and electric windows, and the eml has decided to remain lit after a short investigation with my Lexia ! Is this likely to be a key programming and synchronisation issue? The keys can be initialised OK, but refuse to synchronise !!

The other thing I have yet to do is re-instal the airbag: Yes, I will be ultra careful doing this !!

Have added photo attachments showing new solenoid fitted and the packaging it came in. (Have to see if it's done it).
