Gearbox engine mount
#1
Hiya...

How long do gearbox mounts last ? I know the engine mounts are approx. I drive like a Vicar... 30k miles old and the gearbox mount seems to have deteriated, does any one know if the bolt that is attached to the gearbox should have a rubber coating or not ? I am going to get another rubber mount but if the bolt is worn I will need one of those too...

Gearbox mounts should last 100k - 200k without problems! It is always best to get genuine parts TBH.

As for the bolt cant say can you visit a citroen dealer parts department and check?
