My search for a suitable Berlingo is proving more of a challenge, so I've widened my net and now also looking at the Puggy Partner Tepee Outdoor - both 2014 models.
Thing is, I've no real idea which one is better equipped.
I'm after -
- 115bhp diesel
- Window blinds in rear doors
- Individual rear seats that can tilt/slide and be removed
- Roof bars
- Reversing sensors
- Split tailgate (so the window opens or the whole boot does)
- About 30k on the clock
- Storage box in between front seats
- A/C
Nice to haves (in no real order) - really not essential but if one had them, then it would be top of the list
- Cruise control
- < 24k on the clock (however, I'm slightly wary of really low miles as it suggests very short journeys so the DPF might not have had a chance to clear so might need worked on)
- Rubber boot mat (although can be bought later)
- Tow ball - would mean I get a towball rack for the bikes instead of the roof racks
- Climate control
- Modutop - but really might not be ideal as it might eat into roof space and that will impact how I carry the bikes! However, if it did have that then the roof bars are transverse and that saves me getting new bars and mounting kit.
I've found a potential car, it has 15k on the clock and is a Tepee. The bit I'm unsure of is what differences are there between the 2 cars? They are effectively the top of the line car of each model for that age, but I don't know which one was 'better' equipped. The Berlingo has a lot of 'packs' and the Tepee appears to have 1, but the Tepee appears to have many of the 'pack' items already included (same as the Berlingo does).
However, does one model have more kit or better kit than the other? I'm confused and hoping for some guidance please.
Thanks.

The In search of the Holy Grail problem, many of us have been there.
You can look forever for the perfect car but I think you will be pleased with whatever is convenient.
It's not easy to find a 2 or 3 year old model of any kind as many have discovered, quality over quantity always prevails.

Agreed, saying that, I have found a couple...almost all too far away. However there is a Tepee about 30 miles away so very tempted, but does it have the same kit as the XTR?
My 'must-have' list isn't anything non-standard - I think both models have them all, but I really don't know, which is why I'm asking.
I can't really tell from the various brochures, so am hoping someone on here knows and can assist.
My impression is that the Puggy was more expensive but had standard kit that the Berlingo didn't have, but the packs included most, so they appear the same.
Confused!

Thanks for the note, so in summary - the XTR and the Outdoor have the same bits and both don't have anything more/less/better than the other.
The auto seems to hvae a smarter drive system or something alongside the auto box...might take a look (I think it also has cruise control as standard)...
Thanks, more food for thought.

In general the PSA Group market the Peugeot brand as more luxurious than Citroen. They're obviously priced higher, but it's purely trim. Mechanically they probably all come off the same production line. I've been looking around for a while too, There are many more Citroen's available> If you compare then, the Peugeots seem to be a little less garish inside with more subtle colours etc. But you'll be sitting on the same seat frame with the same padding. Otherwise its just whatever toys you want.
I had been looking at 212/13 models, but just found a very tidy 2009 XTR (67k with full history) not far from home. It has everything, you'd want inc the glass roof & all the additional accessories that come with that spec. I was cheeky & bid the seller a grand less than he was looking & he took it. I don't think he realised what a gem he had.
