I've serviced the new to me 1.9d Berlingo today. Fresh oil/ filter, new diesel and air filters and a couple of new screws to help the air sensor seal to the air box better and....... it's improved performance noticeably.
The old filters were not that bad really, needed changing but had been changed this millennium!
I think I'll do the oil and filter again in three thousand miles or so as I intend keeping the old girl and at £20 a go it's cheap enough to do.
Also noticed the steering uj had stiffened up a bit again so a bit more wd40 and then some spray grease and it's freed off nicely although two part worn Nexen tyres on the front might have helped too.
All is going well just a couple of other jobs to do - One being to fit a rear bumper protector in alloy chequer plate - does anyone make them to fit or will it be a custom job for me to bend, shape and fix?
