newbie....
#1
Just signed up, thought I would say hello.
Got a Partner van just now, previously had a Berlingo van,
both 1st gen non turbo vans {old} Great little workhorses
and very underated. Thinking about a newer one next year
but still prefer the style/shape of the older one.
Anyway....Hello....

1.9, i've said it before and i'll say it again, compared to the HDI i once heard it described as 'asthmatic', sums it up well!

My point being, if you are happy with that, then...

Take no notice eurodub he only runs the place!! At least your 1.9
doesn't have a turbo that will suddenly disintegrate!
(I have a 1.6 which does have a self-destroying turbo!!)

Are you in Scotland by any chance??
Whatever!!
WELCOME!!!
The Older I get the Better I Was!  Cool

Well I havn't had the privelage of driving the turbo models,
but I have to say I'm quite happy plodding about in the very economical
and reliable non turbo, also still have a decent TDi car, so best of both really,
and yes I'm from Scotland, what gave it away?....Confusedcratch:
