Carpet Slippers Req.
#1
Hi I recently purchased a 2 year old Citroen Berlingo 1.6 hdi Enterprise van in Arctic Silver with low mileage.

As this is only for domestic use I will be doing a few little aesthetic mods on her as I go along...She was ply lined when I got her, wouldn't be to my standards but pretty reasonable and clean..The first job I wanted to do was to just carpet the payload area with something durable but at the same time to look pretty smart...Today I bought a carpet remnant to fit that bill and proceeded with the job in hand.

The first job was to remove the plywood floor lining

Which left the original black pan tray...this was quite dirty so I gave it a good brush and wash job before re fitting

I used the original Plywood as a template to carefully cut the carpet to shape

After which I attached the carpet to the wooden liner with spray glue and left this to cure for around an hour before cutting out the luggage cleat holes

Its all looking pretty neat and tidy and I'm quite impressed with the outcome

Just a few finishing touches to perform after I have screwed everything down

All in all a good days work and it sure is tidy in the back.. Smile
All that's needed now is a metal silver/chrome coloured carpet door strip...to finish the job and maybe cover the wall ply in the same material (as yet undecided)

Thanks for looking
Regards
C
