Bungi Cords
#1
One thing my van is not so good at is carrying multiple shopping bags home with the War Department....This is not what was intended for this work horse (the van not the wife  Smile)

Anyway noticing the failings and I am building a rack for tools I was going to need something else to secure silly loads such as the weekly shop on the odd occasion this will happen...(that's why they have online delivery woman)....
I have invested in some Bungi Cords, you know the elasticated type. I wanted a selection so I opted for the Master Lock Brand and I got 2x60cm - 2x80cm and 2x100cm elasticated cords in a tub..what startled me the most was the broad range in prices for the same product almost £3 in some instances (could buy another 2 with that lol)
I eventually bought them from B&M's (old Woolworths)....at £6.99 pretty good value I thought.
Other shops consulted
B&Q £7.78
Screwfix £9.99
Homebase £8.36
Amazon £7.48
Argos (possibly cheaper but have to wait 5 days for some reason)
All are the exact same product from the same branding.
So I got what I wanted in the end by going into a shop that I wouldn't normally frequent and picked up a bargain.
It pays to shop around as they say Cool
Regards
C

I do like the curry hook in the passenger footwell but you are correct, I also have had all the shopping rolling around in the back after negotiating roundabouts at speed.

Thanks guys
I've bought them now...I also have a cargo net for the wifes PUG (Formerly my vehicle)

but its far to small for the van..Maybe there is a van size one I dont know...anyhow it may also be more trouble than its worth in this instance and I'm happy with the bungee's for what I need

I find I need 2 of the stretchy cargo nets (cheap ebay), a small one and a very large one to stretch over taller items. I keep them and a selection of webbing straps in the cubby-hole in the RHS inner rear panel.
I also put some stainless steel eye-bolts in the roof in the interior roof rack locations, find them handy for strapping stuff to (bikes)
