Air conditioning
#1
I have a 1.6 petrol 2007 berlingo the air con has stopped working,
I have a gauge from Halfords for ez chill but no refrigerant in can ,this gauge showed low pressure,
iam going to get it done at garage however I cant find sticker showing weight of refrigerant In engine compartment.
I did google and look at older posts I found the following information:

R134a : 575+- 25g
PAG ISO 46 : 135ML+-10ML

Is this correct for my car ?.

Hi, If you're going to a garage then they'll sort out the correct quantities - shop around as sometimes places like Halfords centres have special offers at around £50 all in.

Took it to garage today,
no gas or oil was recovered during 25min vacuum,
after that they added 600g of refrigerant and 5ml of oil plus 5ml tracer,i asked why they didn't add 135ml oil, was told that there is oil in compressor already and it is only lost if a component of ac is changed.
