Slight flat spot 2800rpm 1.6 hdi
#1
Noticed this tonight on the drive home. Slightly spirited drive as the 3 series driver beside me was being a pillock. Noticed through the gear changes a very slight flat spot around 2800rpm, otherwise the van pulls like a train. I'm rarely up around those revs so can't say I've noticed it before. 65 plate van with 37k on the clock all services done to schedule.

Any suggestions before I call the dealership?

Injector cleaner needed ?

Check hoses to and from turbo and intercooler.

2800 rpm is low so maybe the vehicle use needs to include a more varied rpm range ?

Easy stuff first as cheaper and easier than main dealer.

It's under warranty still and with the low miles i'd be surprised if its injectors but I won't rule it out - intercooler pipe makes sense though
