Anyone had any problems sourcing a front coil spring - car in signature.
Ordered the only on available from Euro Cars but its about 5 inches and 2 coils longer than the one that came off.

I've got a 2002 1.9d, so the m49 model as yours
I bought a pair really cheaply off ebay, only fitted one so far (due to short on time and rotten weather while fitting it) it's different to the existing ones, but still sits level. Paid less than a tenner a side.
Might also be worth investing in strut top bearings, seeing as the shock will have to be stripped down anyway. Whilst mine wasn't yet shot, it was certainly notchy.

Cheers for that. Away with mechanic at the minute. I'll see what he has to say when he comes back.
