Door lock doesn't !!

I have an intermittent fault on the drivers door.
When I use the central locking, the door solenoids sometimes fail to stay engaged.
I get round this by opening the side door and lock the drivers door from the inside first.

The car thinks the drivers door is still open - confirmed by the courtesy light staying on (until it times out).
I figure the problem is either a dodgy switch in the door, or a damaged wire between the door and the door post.
But which of the ten wires could be at fault?

Any one any ideas?

Could possibly be corrosion in the connector between frame and door - try wriggling the connector around or carefully unplugging/re-plugging. Connector pins very small & fragile. Something like ACF50 might help if you do unplug.

Hi, You're right, I found verdigris on the plug pins.
I gently cleaned them and gave them a thin smear of Vaseline for protection.
Seems to have fixed it. Thanks
